We have launched our new campaign!

‘Give a man a fish you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish you feed him for life’

Many of you may know how much Selfless values this quote. Our aim to is to put it in to practice.

Our latest campaign #MyMother, focuses on the country with the highest rate of maternal deaths in the world, Afghanistan.

1 in 11 Afghan women will die of causes related to pregnancy and childbirth during her child bearing years.
Selfless is working with clinicians to educate and train midwives in rural Afghanistan, a country that currently has around 400 trained midwives.

Our approach to train women to deliver babies safely and encourage them to share their skills with others when they return to their towns & villages.

We need your help to raise awareness and donations to support the cause.

The International definition of a midwife is a person who, having been regularly admitted to a midwifery educational programme , duly recognised in the country in which it is located, has successfully completed the prescribed course of studies in midwifery and ha sacquired the requisite qualifications to be registered and/or legally licensed to practise midwifery.
